Sunday 24th March - Swadlincote Round-Up
It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.
The first match of the evening saw an exciting clash between Paralympiakos and Murder On Zidanes Floor. Despite a hard-fought game, the former fell short, leading the latter to secure a 3-1 victory. The prowess of Murder On Zidanes Floor was evident as they displayed exceptional teamwork and tactical acumen to outmaneuver their opponents and clinch the match.
The second match was a stunning display of footballing supremacy from WM Village as they decimated The Underdogs with an overwhelming scoreline of 8-1. It was a night to remember for WM Village, who put on a masterclass performance and proved their dominance in the Premier League division.
The star of the night, however, was undoubtedly Brad Starkey from WM Village. Starkey carried the match with an outstanding performance that saw him net three goals, taking his team to a triumphant victory and securing his position as the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week. His brilliant performance not only won the hearts of the fans but also instilled fear in the hearts of the opponents.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LEAGUE WILL BE CANCELLED FOR ONE WEEK ON SUNDAY 31ST MARCH AS THE VENUE IS CLOSED DUE TO EASTER SUNDAY. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE BACK IN ATTENDANCE ON SUNDAY 7TH APRIL AS PER THE FIXTURES.
