Sunday 25th February - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed fixtures played once again.

The night kicked off with Paralympiakos facing off against the Autismo Allstarz. Despite a gallant effort from Paralympiakos, Allstarz triumphed with a convincing 3-1 victory, demonstrating their impressive offensive prowess and robust defense.

Following this, Mother Munchers and WM Village had a nail-biting match, with Mother Munchers edging out WM Village in a close 3-2 contest. The team's sheer grit and determination were on full display as they managed to clinch the win in the dying minutes of the game.

In what was the highest scoring match of the evening, The Underdogs pulled off a stunning 12-0 victory against Isnt It FC. The Underdogs' brilliant attacking play, coupled with their sturdy defense, left their opponents unable to break through.

Lastly, Murder On Zidanes Floor displayed excellent teamwork and tactical play to overpower Barely Athletic with an 8-0 victory. Their stellar performance further solidified their position as one of the teams to watch this season.
