Sunday 25th September - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches on display.

We are delighted to welcome new team Lawnmower FC to the league this week who fill the vacancy we had.  We wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 2nd October as they face West Hurts United.

Leaders Deportivo De La Zouch got an impressive result this week as they edged past champions Netsix and Chill by a single goal, although Budweiser FC are not letting up, the second placed team remaining a point off the top as they thrashed Paralympiakos 10-1, they will be looking to keep pace with the team above them as the two meet on Sunday 9th October.

Completing the evening's action was third placed Boom Xhakalaka who were 4-1 winners in their match against West Hurts United.
