Sunday 27th April - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week as the new season got off to a flying start under the new two division format.

In the Premier League, '6 Men 1 Cup' made a powerful entry by defeating 'Vivid FC' 4-0 in a stunning display of teamwork and strategy. 'Paralympiakos' and 'Acca For Spaca' gave fans a nail-biting game with the former clinching victory by a single goal in a 4-3 showdown. 'Mother Munchers' also had a victorious start, managing to keep a clean sheet with a 2-0 triumph over 'Kneel In The Bath Utd'.

Jakub of 'Paralympiakos' emerged as the star player of the evening in the Premier League, showcasing his football prowess with a spectacular hat trick. His outstanding performance has undoubtedly set the tone for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, 'Boomerangs Wanderers' outplayed 'Raami FC' 3-0, demonstrating their preparedness for the season ahead. 'Only Put Matip In' also dominated the field with a neat 4-0 victory over 'Charv'. 'Isn't It FC' put on an impressive show, clinching a 4-1 victory against 'League Of Nations'.

Blane from 'Only Put Matip In' emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, scoring a brilliant three goals and setting the competition ablaze.
