Sunday 27th March - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Fatzio FC who we look forward to seeing return on Sunday 4th April.

We were pleased to welcome new team 'Perfect Peaches' to the league this week, they went in at short notice and had a tough opening game against ' Boom Xhakalaka', but they will be looking to build upon this as they get used to life in the league.

Netsix and Chill were big winners this week as they made it 8 wins on the spin, with a comprehensive 14-1 win over Pique Blinders.  They remain 2 points clear of second placed Boom Xhakalaka who themselves were big winners, beating the new team 11-0.

Swad Rams moved up  to third place with an impressive 5-1 win over Show Me Da Mane, whilst Budweiser dropped two placed to fifth after suffering a 3-0 reverse at the hands of Deportivo De La Zouch.  Gavatasaray Reserves made it back to back wins this week after a 4-1 win over 5 and Drive FC.
