Sunday 29th October - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception to this being Villa Wycombe who had to cancel at late notice, but return to action on Sunday 5th November.


Autismo Allstarz came out victorious against Barely Athletic, with a clean sheet and an impressive 3-0 win. The Allstarz showcased a strong defense and midfield presence, managing to keep their opponents at bay throughout the game. Barely Athletic, despite their promising efforts and a well-coordinated attack, failed to pierce through the Allstarz's solid defensive line. This win further solidifies Autismo Allstarz's standing in the league table.


Meanwhile, Deportivo De La Zouch displayed an exemplary show of tactical prowess, overpowering Isnt It FC 4-0. Isnt It FC struggled to keep up with Deportivo's swift and incisive attacks. The top scorer of the match for Deportivo De La Zouch was impressive, delivering a stunning hat trick and leading his team to victory.


In another game, The Underdogs lived up to their name, surprising the spectators with a hard-earned 3-1 victory over Paralympiakos. Despite Paralympiakos's early lead, The Underdogs rallied back, scoring three consecutive goals and snatching the victory.
