Sunday 3rd April - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being a non-attendance from Fatzio who have now been removed as this was their second consecutive failure to attend which was disappointing.

On the pitch there was some superb action played out, as Netsix and Chill got their ninth win in a row, running out 4-1 winners over Deportivo De La Zouch who had looked impressive since joining, so a big result as Netsix look to clinch the title.  Boom Xhakalaka remain on the coattails of the leaders, they were 2-1 winners over Budweiser FC in a hard fought game.

Third placed Swad Rams looked in impressive form in front of goal as they were 6-2 winners against Gavatasaray Reserves, as they sit just two points off second, whilst fourth placed Xavi Dodgers were big winners against Perfect Peaches in an 8-1 victory.  Finally, Show Me Da Mane recovered from a heavy defeat last week and chalked up a 3-1 win over Pique Blinders to complete the action.
