Sunday 3rd September - Swadlincote Round-Up

Here are the match results and reports for the games in the Leisure Leagues Swadlincote Sunday 6-a-side league on Sunday 3rd September which marked game week 12 of the season at The Pingle Academy on the impressive 3G surface.  Match reports are below - 

VILLA WYCOMBE 2 - 4 AUTISMO ALLSTARZ

It was a thrilling and high-speed game between VILLA WYCOMBE and AUTISMO ALLSTARZ. The VILLA boys initially took the lead 2-0, thanks to a brilliant double from Fin. However, the Autismo Allstarz woke up in the second half and found their scoring form. Ryan started the comeback, making it 2-1, and Reece continued with a fine hat-trick, ensuring the game ended 4-2.

BARELY ATHLETIC 3 - 2 BUDWEISER FC

The match between BARELY ATHLETIC and BUDWEISER FC was a fantastic showdown with both sides delivering an electrifying performance. The game was lightning fast, and the players left nothing on the pitch, entertaining the spectators throughout. Budweiser FC took an early lead, going 1-0 up. However, Barely Athletic showed tremendous resilience and determination. Not only did they level the score, but they also surged ahead to make it 3-1. In the dying moments of the game, last season's runners-up, Budweiser FC, pulled one back to make it 3-2. However, they couldn't find another goal as Barely Athletic held firm and secured the valuable points.
