A good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches and some well competed football played across the division.
In the Premier League, 6 Men 1 Cup showcased a brilliant display of teamwork and strategy to prevail over Kneel In The Bath Utd, with a convincing 6-3 score. Luca was the star of the match, demonstrating his football skills by scoring three goals and securing his position as the top scorer in the Premier League division.
Mother Munchers also managed to secure a victory against Acca For Spaca, finishing the game with a comfortable 2-0 scoreline, a solid performance from Sam helping them take the points.
The Vivid FC and Paralympiakos match came down to a nail-biting finish, with Vivid FC just edging out a win with a score of 1-0 with goalkeeper Chris putting in a sterling performance to keep a clean sheet.
In Division 1, we witnessed plenty of intense action as well. Boomerangs Wanderers suffered a narrow defeat against Isnt It FC, with a final scoreline of 2-3, Regan of Isn't It taking the player of the match.
Charv displayed a top-notch performance, breezing past League Of Nations with a decisive 5-1 victory, helped massively by Ethan.
However, the highlight of the Division 1 was the match between Raami Fc and Only Put Matip In. Only Put Matip In emerged as clear winners with a smashing 4-0 victory, showcasing their dominance on the field. Alfie, from Only Put Matip In, stood out with his outstanding performance, scoring two goals and hence securing his position as the top scorer in Division 1.
