Sunday 4th September - Swadlincote Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week as we returned from the Bank Holiday weekend break, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled ad some excellent matches played across the division!

League leaders Deportivo De La Zouch were in impressive form this week as they ran out 4-2 winners over West Hurts United to remain a single point clear of second placed Budweiser FC, who themselves got an impressive 2-1 win over third placed MFS FC to move two points ahead of this weeks opposition.  

Fourth placed Boom Xhakalaka looked clinical in front of goal this week as they claimed a 6-2 win over Paralympiakos, whilst champions Netsix and Chill remain in fifth place after their 5-0 win this week, meaning five teams are separated by just four points in what is shaping up to be an exciting second half of the season!
