Sunday 5th March - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played to kick off the brand new season!

Last season's champions Deportivo De La Zouch came flying out the blocks this week as they look to retain their title, a 5-2 win over Lawnmower kicked off their campaign. 

Paralympiakos were also in fine form and put in a convincing performance to beat Corona Rovers 3-0.

The other two games were a lot closer as Swads Unfittest and The Underdogs claimed 1-0 wins over last season Runners-Up Budweiser FC and new team Athletico De Swad respectively.
