Sunday 6th November - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for the first matches of the new season as scheduled.

The champions Deportivo De La Zouch got this season off to a flyer just as they finished the last, they were comfortable 6-0 winners over Lawnmower FC thanks in part to a Michael Jones hattrick.

Boom Xhakalaka also ran out comfortable 6-0 winners in their season opener against West Hurts United, thanks in the main to a four goal haul from Mitch Moore.  

Elsewhere there was a hatful of goals in the Budweiser FC game as they thrashed Swadlincote Rovers 7-3 in a thriller, a hattrick from Greg saw him amongst the early season front runners.

Elsewhere a 3-2 win for Corona Rovers over Paralympiakos saw them get their first victory since joining, thanks to a brace from Connor Taylor.
