It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league overall this week.
BALL BOOZE N BIRDS kicked off the evening in dominant fashion, obliterating HUSSARS FC with a thunderous 10-1 victory that left spectators awestruck. The energy, focus, and precision of BALL BOOZE N BIRDS was a sight to behold, aiming to set a firm standing in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, the match between Paralympiakos and League Of Nations turned into a one-sided affair. In an attacking spectacle, League Of Nations triumphed over Paralympiakos with a resounding 11-1 scoreline, causing Paralympiakos to retreat and rethink their game plan for the next match day.
However, the highlight of the night was the exceptional performance of Rhys, a formidable striker from League Of Nations. He single-handedly scored an outstanding total of five goals, firmly establishing himself as the top scorer in the Premier League division for week two. This extraordinary feat by Rhys was a testament to his skill and his side's dominating performance.
Whilst we are extremely disappointed in the non-attendances once again from 6 Men 1 Cup and Hammerton Ultras, we can confirm that they have both been immediately removed from the league, and, fortunately, they were playing each other anyway so their lack of courtesy didn't affect any other teams in the league.
On a positive note we welcome new team Tiki Spaka to the league for Sunday 15th March, meaning we have JUST ONE REMAINING VACANCY to fill. Sign up now to take this as the new season has just started!
