Sunday 9th October - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all 8 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled throughout the night.

Deportivo De La Zouch went a long way to securing the title this week as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Budweiser FC in the battle of the top two, they still have work to do but a 3 point cushion with 3 games and 6 points to play for is a nice position to be in as they bid to win their first title.

Boom Xhakalaka were in lethal form in front of goal this week as they thrashed new boys Lawnmower FC by 11 goals to 1, moving them into third place in the table as they leapfrogged MFS FC who were held to a 3-3 draw by Netsix and Chill in an entertaining match.

Elsewhere, West Hurts United grabbed a second consecutive win as they look improved of late, they beat Paralympiakos by a 5-0 scoreline.
