SWADLINCOTE 6 A SIDE SUNDAY LEAGUE NEWS - 21ST NOVEMBER

It was another good evening of football in our Sunday 6-a-side league at The Pingle Academy in Swadlincote with all teams in attendance with the exception of Six Appeal FC who have now been removed from the league due to multiple nonattendances.

We do now have one space available in the league and are offering FREE ENTRY to the next team that signs up - simply fill in an online team entry form via our website and we will be in contact with you to get you started.

The top two teams, Netsix and Chill and Lads on Toure both extended their lead at the top of the league with big wins in their respective games.

There was an important game in the late kickoff that saw 3rd place Swad Rams face off against 4th place Boom Xhakalaka with neither team affording to drop points in their chase for the title. However, it was the Swad Rams that came out victorious in a 4-1 win and they are hot on the tails of the top 2!

Bayern Bru recorded their second win of the season in impressive fashion with a 6-1 win against Fatzio, however the game of the night was the fixture between Pique Blinders and Centrum Warriors. Going into the gameweek, both teams were level on 12 points and they still couldn't be separated last night after their entertaining end-to-end game finished 4-4!
