SUNDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER - SWADLINCOTE ROUND UP

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across both divisions. 

We unfortunately had to remove a team this week due to unacceptable behaviour towards a match official. The level of abuse the referee had to deal with was awful to witness and we were left with no other choice than to remove Inter Stella FC from the league programme. Here at leisure league we take a zero tolerance policy to abuse towards referees, and if we experience any more, expect to be removed from the league programme. 

Lads on Toure and Netsix and Chill are neck and neck at the top of the league with 100% records as they both recorded wins at the weekend. With Lads on Toure winning 6-1 and Netsix and Chill winning 4-0. They both play each other this weekend so we will be keeping a close eye on that game! Boom Xhakalaka are close in 3rd after a highly impressive 11-0 win to Six Appeal. Swad Rams defeated new boys Inter Gresley FC 2-0.
