Scunthorpe Thursday 7-a-side football: New campaign rolls on
This week's round of fixtures in the Scunthorpe Thursday 7-a-side league featured some very tight contests in both divisions.
In the Premier League, Crosby Colts and Fiction FC were deadlocked at 1-1 at full time, and the newly-promoted Santiago Chebs continued rolling on, with a 4-2 victory over Pathetic Athletic.
League leaders IsYourMotherwell claimed a 3-1 win over No Muff To Tuff FC to stay just a one goal's difference clear of the Chebs at the top of the table.
Division 1 action kicked off with Murder on Zidane's Floor narrowly managing a 1-0 win against Pork Vale, while Berkeley Bad Boyz and Stroke Titty played out the week's second 1-1 stalemate.
FC Partizany just about managed to edge out their counterparts Romanian Boys to clinch a 2-1 win to stay on top of the table.
