The Scunthorpe Thursday 7-a-side league produced some unbelievable footballing action this week, and some hardly believable scorelines at the St Lawrence Academy.
Amid a couple of points match walkovers, league leaders Santiago Chebs cruised to a 6-2 win over Stroke Titty to maintain their four-point lead atop the table.
Valacticos beat Saka Spuds 3-0, and 0LS beat Bit of Me Mums by the same scoreline.
The real showstopper of the evening, however, was IsYourMotherwell’s incredible performance against Bath Boys. The second-placed side sent out a strong message that they are going to gun for that top spot, demolishing Bath Boys 17-1. A truly stunning display to cap things off.
There are still a couple of vacant spots in the division, so if you want to get involved in some high-quality 6-a-side in Scunthorpe every week, then be sure to visit www.leisureleagues.net or contact Michael on 07341810083.
