Scunthorpe Thursday 7-a-side: Nearing the end!
The penultimate week of the season in Scunthorpe's 7-a-side Thursday league saw some important results.
In the Premier League, however, IsYourMotherwell wrapped up the title after their 1-1 draw with Santiago Chebs FC, while Crosby Colts got a walkover. Fiction FC and Bit of Me Mums locked horns in a 13-goal thriller, with the former prevailing 9-4.
Meanwhile, the Division 1 title race is just about still alive after Stroke Titty drew 3-3 with Murder on Zidanes Floor and Berkeley Bad Boyz beat Romanian Boys 6-4 in another terrific contest.
Leaders Stroke Titty still have firm control, and as long as they don't lose by a ridiculous margin and Bad Boyz don't win with a massive scoreline, they will still win the title. But we all know the high-scoring potential of 7-a-side.
Meanwhile, all the teams outside the top two are level on points and have the chance to decide their final position for themselves.
