Monday night marked the start of a new season of the Saint Leonards-on-sea Monday Football League, and the action in the Premier League division did not disappoint. As the floodlights shone brightly over the pitch, teams clashed and footballers showcased their skills, proving that this season promises to be an exciting one.

The reigning champions, BibleBashersFC, delivered a stunning performance to kick off the league, crushing West Saints with a 9-2 win. Leading the charge for BibleBashersFC was the team's ace, Jude, who delivered a remarkable 4 goals, a feat that currently places him as the division's top scorer.

However, BibleBashersFC wasn't the only team to command the field during the season's inaugural week. St Helens Internazionale Di Tilekiln FC also made their presence known, overwhelming Feckarwee Wanderers FC with a 7-1 victory.

Not to be outdone, Kroos Control carved out their own space in the Premier League standings, taking home a 6-3 win against Fecker Feds United.
