Basingstoke 6 A Side - 2Girls1Klopp & The Lamposts in focus!

Last week you guys didn’t get your weekly write up and have no idea who was worthy of our team of the week... and guess what, you now never will!

HOWEVER! It was for good reason, as I was sunning myself in Spain..

All is back to normal again now and will be able to make a couple of teams feel just a little special, because even if you don't admit it, who doesn’t love to have their performance complimented...

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

2 Girls 1 Klopp have lost their top spot in the last few weeks but they certainly got back to winning ways on Monday night with a big 11-4 win, which I'm sure was them making a statement of some kind of what we all know they can achieve. Next Monday though is the week that really counts for these guys with a league champion being decided from the fixture. This is certainly set to be the game of the season!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

The Lampposts will walk around with their heads held heigh after a big win for them on Monday, which helps them keep the pressure on their rivals in the runners up position, which is all up for grabs next Monday again with a big game to decide who are crowned runners up, so this run of form and momentum they’ll be taking into that game will be vital for them to take that runners up position!

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS!

Robbie Gorman - First touch - Robbie is yet again vital for his team with another goal and a VERY strong MOTM performance from him to ensure his team walked away with the win!

Jack Burkham - Astroworldies - Jack was hugely important for his team and found the net 3 times to be almost solely responsible for his teams win in the 4-3 win, which brings them straight up to mid table!

Bailey Roffey - Cripswitch town - Bailey is a massive asset for this team, always has been and I'm sure will be, especially in the higher division. His goals are essential for his teams league position, beating the keeper another 3 times on Monday night!

Cavan Cook - The lampposts - Cavan was captain fantastic on Monday night, leading by example and being yet another player to find the back of the net 3 times. They couldn’t handle him in frant of goal!
