In a thrilling week 4 of the Basingstoke Monday 6-a-side Football league, local teams once again graced the pitch and showcased exceptional skill and determination.

Division 1 came alive with highly competitive matches. Blazers set the pitch ablaze, defeating Daniel Stubbage FC with a scoreline of 3-1. James Goldsmith, their star player, was named the most valued player of the week, reflecting his crucial contribution to the victory. In another exciting showdown, Camavinga Your Mum narrowly edged past Goal Diggers with a 2-1 victory. The Kestrel Killaz also demonstrated their prowess by beating Man Tity 5-3, while Popley won convincingly against Peps Army with a significant 5-2 lead.

Moving to Division 2, Barely Athletic and Grass With No Class ended their battle in a 1-1 draw. A high-scoring match saw Chezney FC triumph over Man Tity Reserves with a score of 11-4. In a nail-biting contest, Taking The Mikel fell short just by one goal against Not Kinky, with the final tally being 3-4. Stacys Deciples faced defeat against Scrote City FC, who emerged victorious with 5 goals to 2.

Unfortunately, the top scorers for each division have not been publicly revealed. However, the performance of James Goldsmith suggests he might be a contender for the top scorer title.
