Munter Hunters and Wasted talent catch out eye!

Another week rolls on at The Vyne School and this week was a very wet one, but that didn’t effect anything and the league must go on!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

With a scoreline of 11-1, Munter Hunters really weren’t taking any prisoners on Monday night! These lads really turned on the class and gave it 110% throughout their performance! We rarely see scorelines like this at our league, so when we do we feel it needs to fully celebrated and what way to do that than the prestigious weekly award “team the week”. These guys have had a fairly slow start but will very much see themselves as title contenders this season!

PREMIER LEAGUE MOTM AWARDS!

Sam Allen - Only Put - Sams team weren’t victorious last night, but he sure wasn’t to blame! A MOTM performance from him with 3 very clinical finishes and 3 very well taken goals!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Wasted Talent have to take it this week after being on the good end of a 6-0 scoreline! Last week wasn’t a good result for them, so it showed really good character to get back out there and put in this kind of performance and keep a clean sheet. These guys were a relegated premier league team, so I'm sure it’ll take a few weeks to get their confidence back and get these wins on a consistent basis again. With them only being 2 points from the top of the league, they are still very much considered title contenders!

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS!

Robbie Gorman - First touch - Robbie was captain fantastic on Monday night and lead by example, finding the back of the net twice to ensure his team walked away with another win and moved up to the top half of the table!

Liam Sibley - Batesons u13s - Liam really stood out in his game but in a strange way. He had the ability to just stand there and not involve himself in the game for a few minutes and then suddenly just spring into action, pick out an inch perfect pass to put someone through on goal or receive the ball and dance his way through the middle of the park. Hugely effective player!
