Lets recap on another week of 6 a side football at The Vyne School.

With all teams turning up for their games and having 100% attendance for the second week in a row, the league is continuing to prove popular.

Thank you to the referees for your attendance and being reliable as always, helping to make the night run a smoothly as possible.

Our team of the week this week was awarded to "Man Chest Hair United". We made this decision due to the improvement they showed from the previous week, where they suffered a very close and tense defeat, which was solely down to their lack of defending in the first half. This week there was a massive improvement in their defending, rarely getting caught on the courter or outnumbered at the back. The much improved defensive display was largely down to the "man of the match" Alexander David, who was always in the right place at the right time and proved to be a defensive rock at the back.

Make sure your team catches the eyes of the 'referees' or 'match night supervisor' and be chosen for team of the week to get your teams performance analyses and posted online.

There was also a MOTM for Matt Osborne from 'Sperm Tour FC'. The referee made strong comments about his "excellent individual performance", so very well done to Matt for putting in a stand out performance!
