Our reigning league champions are knocked off the top spot!

Our reigning league champions have had their winning run ended very early into the new season and now have to stay hot on the league leaders heels to try and get back in the title chase.

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Team of the week had to go to Paris Ganjan, firstly just for ending Athletico Pathetico's winning run, which is not the easiest of tasks as you can imagine! but also doing It in a fairly convincing 3-0 win. Merson Webb and his team did put in a very strong performance against the league champions, as Athletico are not ones to just drop points without a fight. This win also puts Paris Ganjan level on points with their opponents and really hots up the title race early on! The referee told us after the game that they deserved the win tonight, they were just class and really made life hard work for Athletico.

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

ABCDE FC will take the team of the week accolade this week with another very convincing 6-1 victory over the newbies - My Little Bony. They are still the only division one team to have a 100% winning start to the new season and are really starting to show us the version of the team that we first had memories of. They don't look like slowing down any time soon and are already the favourites to win the league and get promoted back to the higher division. Momentum is on their side and we feel that this could be the season for them to be amongst the best team in the league again.
