Real Bannas and Batesons u13’s impress on week 3!

Our new teams are really settling in to the league, with both division now looking very competitive, so let’s find out who is worthy of our team of the week!...

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week of course it needs to be handed to our league leaders, Real Bannas. Rowan Vine made a claim that his team would win the league on their first full season and last season they managed runners up with a 100% winning run after joining the league mid season. So far we are 3 games in and they have maintained their winning record, last night beating the last remaining team with a 100% start to the season and probably their biggest rivals! These guys are the real deal...

PREMIER LEAGUE MOTM AWARDS!

Joseph Redmond - In the closet - Joseph was vital in this massive performance his team put on to push aside one of our title contenders. 3 goals for him sees him very MOTM worthy and more than warrants the praise from the referee!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week it has to go to Batesons u13’s after a hugely improved performance from them sees them smash their opponents 7-0! Let us not forget, the team they beat have just been relegated from the top division, so this was a hugely impressive turn out from these guys! This win also putting them in the runners up position and only 1 point below the league leaders, which is making it very interesting to see how their debut season unfolds....

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS!

Christopher Leete - Hardly Athletic - This was a top class captains performance, who was outstanding in between the sticks and largely responsible for the game finishing so competitively

Cody Piper - 3 - Cody stole the show on Monday night and was purely a different class! Bagging 3 goals and being completely unplayable with his work rate and quick feet!

Kairo Crome - Smoke Swuad - Kairo got himself on the score sheet with 2 goals on Monday night and was always his teams outlet going forward, always being available when they were under pressure. This guys was a different class!

Ashley Nethercliffe - Batesons u13’s - Ashley was another player that didn’t have any issue with finding the back of the net and managed to claim a hattrick. Very worthy of the referees praise!
