Six Offenders go top and Parisganjan break our record!

WOW! What a night of action we had on Monday night in our 6 a side league at The Vyne school with some big scoring games and some VERY important games!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

How could we award it to anyone else other than Parisganjan?! These guys completely ruined their opponents on Monday night and when I say ruined, I mean destroyed and that's still being kind. The final score was 15-1 and I'm pretty sure this sets a new record for the league, if not then it is right up there with the current records! Parisganjan have been personally warned by me about such humiliation, as these guys have families, families that will no doubt ask "how did you do at football?" and that puts them in a position of either having to lie (because nobody will want to admit to that scoreline) or face being loudly laughed at, neither of which are reasons they come to play. We know this team are considered as one of the best in the league, but a performance like this really puts that into perspective of how good they really are!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This was one of the biggest games of the season if not THE biggest game of the season between both teams 1st and 2nd in the league. A win for Six Offenders here would make them leap frog their opponents and put them top of the league on goal difference, but a loss would instead put 4 points between them and losing all hope of getting their hands on the title. Robson Payne went into this match very much aware of this and in all honestly, probably the underdogs. A 3-1 win for Six Offenders does in fact put them top of the league on goal difference, which is what it could all come down to at the end of the season, so racking up those goals in future games for both teams will be essential! Team of the week has to been given to Six Offenders purely for getting the result against their tougher opponents when they really needed it.
