The Vyne School update

Let's get stuck into another week of news and find out what action Is happening at our Monday night 6-a-side league at The Vyne school.

First up we see who walks away with 'Team of the week' and for what reason...

Only one team could possibly be this weeks Premier league 'team of the week' and it had to be the league leaders... Athletico Pathetico!

Athletico are really proving to be an unstoppable force this season. This is by far their best run of form since they joined the league and I really feel like they've established themselves as one of the feared teams in their division. They clearly didn't get the message about maybe going a little easy on their opponents, who happen to be one of the leagues newbies. This week one player stood out yet again for his team and it seems to be the same guy always leading by example - James Hartwell really is one of the vital cogs to his team with that magical left foot of his, there's not much to say other than - you see the name, you know what to expect, stand out performance yet again Mr Hartwell! His team are really going from strength to strength in the league now and are very deservedly on course to become league champions for the first time.

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week we feel like ABCDE FC deserved the weekly award because slowly but surely, week by week, we are starting to get glimpses of the old ABCDE FC side back that once previously dominated and now they seem to be getting back to winning ways, more importantly a winning streak with a once again consistently strong team. One guy in particular who appears to be back to his once brilliant and unbeatable self is their gaffer and stop stopper - Sam Belcher, who according to the referee had a superb game and was largely  responsible for his own clean sheet. Hopefully he'll be back to his very best a long with his team soon enough.

DIVISION ONE MOTM1

Ben Rogers - Who ate all Depays - Ben yet again superb for his team and ensuring they get back to wining ways with a clean sheet. A very reliable player between the sticks.

Chris Hyde - PICKnMIX fc - ~Consecutive MOTM awards for Chris and very much deserved! A brilliant run of form for him and a vital player on the team!

Tom Colombo - Chicken Tikka Mo Salah - Another team captain in the spotlight this week with tom also putting in his first MOTM performance of the season.
