WELCOME Oakridge FC!

Another new(wish) team to say hello and officially welcome to our Basingstoke 6 a side team.

These guys actually signed before lockdown and when I say "before" they literally played 1 game before the lockdown, so they were very eager to get playing again.

Unfortunately for them, the only space in the league at the time of joining was in the Premier league, so their first season will really test them and so far they are probably looking forward to next season in the lower division.

We are currently 5 games in and they are yet to pick up their first point, but as a new team it is to be expected, the first season is just about getting used to "the 6 a side" way of playing, but I'm sure they will start picking up results soon enough.

They are a great bunch of guys and are a very positive addition to the league! so let's hope they stick with it and be patient.
