Why was the league cancelled?...

LEAGUE CANCELLED!

Let us explain why...

As you all know, we haven’t always cancelled our leagues on bank holidays, but we have since learned that in fact, it is the best thing to do...

Now that everyone is over the lockdown blues and the initial excitement of getting playing again has warn off, people are quite rightly more interested in taking the kids to the beach or just going away with their loved ones, especially being the summer holidays...

All of this would either mean an awful lot of dreaded “friendlies” or we do the smart thing and just postpone it to give everyone a little less stress and just enjoy the bank holiday.

Of course things will be back to normal again next week though, so hopefully everyone will have more time to rest any injuries and come back eager to get out onto that pitch again!
