In the first week of the newly inaugurated season of the Uttoxeter Thursday Football League, teams from both Premier League and Division 1 displayed impressive performances, setting the bar high for the upcoming weeks.

In the Premier League, Saddam And The Ants started off the season with an assertive victory over Crown Rejects, securing a 7-2 win. The Hasbeens, however, found themselves on the losing end, succumbing to a 7-2 defeat at the hands of FillHerWycombe. In another tightly contested match, Wabang FC held their nerves to edge out NUTS IN YOUR GUTS with a slender 1-0 victory.

Moving to Division 1, The Magic Sponges couldn't match the might of Avengers, resulting in a 1-3 loss. Swilling FC, on the other hand, dominated Big Figures throughout the match, resulting in a convincing 4-0 win. MADELINE MILAN also found the going tough against EXPECTED TOULOUSE, losing the match 1-4.
