Brierley Hill Thursday Football League Week 12: Thrills, Spills and Ongoing Battles

As the Brierley Hill Thursday Football League heads into its twelfth week, the thrilling Premier League and Division 1 matches once again kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night during the game between Crystal Phallus and Kford & Co, where a player from Crystal Phallus was sent from the field of play for violent conduct and has been fined and banned accordingly for his actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly every time they happen by our Area Manager to make sure the league is a safe place to be for all the teams and staff. 

Unfortunately, we did also a non-attendance on the night as The Cabin were not present for their fixtures and we will be in contact with them this week to confirm their return for next Thursday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

We did have one team hand in their 7 days notice to cancel for this week, we look forward to welcoming back Exeter Gently for next weeks games!

In the Premier League, FC Megladons showcased their dominance with a 3-1 victory over Borussia Monchenglassback. In another exciting match, Hakuna Juan-Mata narrowly overcame Here 4 A Pint After FC with a scoreline of 2-1.

On the flip side, the Division 1 saw some intense matches too. Sporting Lesbos was defeated 4-1 by Fake Madrid, showcasing an impressive display of teamwork. In another jaw-dropping encounter, Crystal Phallus lost 2-0 to Kford & Co. Non Bibs FC also brushed aside Sedgley Bombers FC.

With only two weeks left of the season, the stakes keep getting higher and the battles more heated. Teams are now looking ahead and prepping to secure their places for the next season. As the competition tightens, fans are ready for another round of thrilling football, undying team spirit, and unforgettable matches.
