Play in the Brierley Hill Wednesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In a thrilling week of football in the Brierley Hill Wednesday league, the fifth week of the season brought some incredible performances from the teams of the Premier League and Division 1.
Unfortunately we did have an incident during the game between Six Offenders and Gangsters Allardyce. Where a player in question from 6 Offenders received a card on the night for persistent bad fouling and the player involved has been fined accordingly for there actions. It is paramount all players stay within the rules at all times in order for the league to be a fun and competitive environment for everyone on a weekly basis, any incidents like the one this past week will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each and every time.
In the Premier League, Redz On Stedz dominated their match against Crxtchit FC, winning emphatically. Scudu Without Scudu, in a tight game, managed to snatch victory from King Julian's Merry Men with a 3-2 scoreline. Lastly, DY8 All The Pies secured a 3-1 victory against Six On The Beach, adding another feather to their cap.
Moving on to Division 1, an exemplary show of footballing skills was put on by Pique Blinders as they defeated 13 Seasons Why 3-0. A close encounter was witnessed between Gangsters Allardyce and 6 Offenders which ended 2-1 in favour of the latter. Despite Choir Boys FC's valiant effort, Real Ale Madrid managed to squeeze out a win with a final score of 4-3.
As we look forward to next week's matches, this week's games have certainly set the standard high. The teams of the Brierley Hill Wednesday league are showing no signs of slowing down and we can't wait to see what they bring to the field next.
