Congratulations to New Era - Premier League Champions

Thank you to all teams on a wet and windy night at Tilsley Park for the final set of fixtures at our Monday night 5 a side league.

The big match at the top of the Prem was the title decider between New Era who started the evening a point behind the leaders Hadland Rovers however took them on in the final showdown for the big prize. In what was always going to be a close match it was New Era that lift the title after a 5-3 win to leave Rovers to pick up the runners up medals. Thank you to both teams on what has been a fantastic title race. At the bottom Chubby Goons and Cunning Stunts drop into Div 1, both will be hoping to bounce back at the first attempt.

At the top of Div 1 Victorious Secret who had already picked up the title finished the season with a 3-0 win over runners up Standard Liege. Congratulations to both teams on winning promotion to the Premier League. Things are about to get a whole lot tougher but both look more than capable of mixing it with the big boys!

The trophy and medals presentations should be next Monday barring any hold ups. The new fixtures will be out on Wednesday morning.
