Cooper's make it 4 wins from 4 at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

It was good to see our Abingdon Monday night 5 a side league almost back to capacity last night with 31 out of 32 teams in attendance. Unfortunately Abingdonnys weren't in attendance, we will be confirming their return before next week.

Former champions Cooper's Troopers were back on top of the Premier League after 4 games as they won 8-3 against Basically Barca. They go two points clear of Unprotected Cesc who lost a thriller to Fruity Spartans 7-6. Hadland Rovers won 5-2 against Sporting Abeergut while Unlimited picked up a points match win with Abingdonnys not in attendance.

Ivory Toast who are fresh from a Div 2 title winning season are flying in Div 1 as they made it 4 wins on the trot with a 7-5 win against Poortugal. Norfolk N Clue returned this week to beat Sevilla Depression 14-0 to move into second. Hardly Athletic rose to third with a 10-6 win against FCUOB while Murder On Zidane's Floor beat new team Unnamed 31 year old Everton players 6-4.

As with Ivory Toast in Div 1 Royal Madrid who are coming off a Div 3 title are looking for back to back titles as they seem unstoppable in Div 2. Last nights 14-2 win over Survey Monkeys keeps them top of the table with a 100% record. Substandard Liege lost their 100% record but remain unbeaten in second as they drew 1-1 with Cunning Stunts. Lot's of goals in the other two matches as Expected Toulouse beat Only Put Matip In 12-6 while AB's All Whites won 8-4 against The Sticky Bandits.

The two Romanian teams are battling it out at the top of Div 3 as both sit on 6 points after 4 games. Top Didcot Dawgs are ahead on goal difference as they won 11-5 against Intayanan while Romania beat The Reds 4-3. Victor Moses Lawn won 11-6 against Sporting John to move up to 4th while FC Unts moved into third with a 11-1 victory against Relegation Rovers.

Thank you to all our teams and to Dean for overseeing the night along with our refs Ben, Martin and Ian. See you all next week for match day 5. Thanks Rich
