Ivory Toast top the Prem at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

Valentine's Monday 5 a side at Abingdon. I know it can be a tricky but it was great to see the majority of teams in attendance on Monday evening. To be honest many couple's will do things at the weekend etc so it's not as if England are playing in the World Cup lol. Only 3 out of 29 teams were away so an excellent turnout.

We have new leaders in the Premier League as Ivory Toast went to the top of the table, their opponents Hadland Rovers were one of the absent teams so Toast took the 5-0 win. Norfolk N Clue are starting to find some form as they followed up last weeks win over Spartans with a 3-0 victory against Athletico Achilles to move up to 4th. Fruity Spartans bounced back from that defeat to win 9-4 against Jugg FC.

Green Goblins produced another dominant display in Div 1 as they won 10-0 against Sevilla Depression, that's 65 goals in 6 games for the leaders. Unnamed 31 year old Everton Players moved into second after a 12-3 win over bottom side Hardly Athletic. Poortugal picked up a points match win with Royal Madrid away.

AB's All Whites 100% record in Div 2 went but they are still top and unbeaten after being held to a 6-6 draw by Victor Moses Lawn. Bottom side Champagne Super Rovers picked up their first win of the season as they impressed during a 9-3 victory against Goals Aloud while Substandard Liege picked up a points match win with Survey Monkey's away.

After drawing with each other last week, Sporting John and FC Unts returned to winning ways this week in Div 3. Leaders on goal difference Sporting John defeated Expected Toulouse 7-2 while FC Unts won 14-3 against Only Put Matip In. In the other game the two mid-table sides Cunning Stunts and The Sticky Bandits met with Stunts edging it 4-3.

Scumbag FC had a points match win to continue their push towards the Div 4 title. Intayanan are keeping pace with them after another win, this week against Fearless Duck 8-4. Relegation Rovers recorded their biggest ever win as the enjoyed a 7-1 victory against McFatty's.

Thank you to Dean along with all our refs and our teams. Good luck on match day 7 next week. Cheers Rich 07969 731086
