New Prem leaders at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

There are just two games left now after last nights fixtures at our Abingdon Monday 5 a side league. The Premier League and Div 3 title races are particularly exciting with the top two teams level on points.

We start our results round up in the Prem where we have new leaders again as Ivory Toast defeated Norfolk N Clue 7-5 in an epic match to move above them to the top. Fruity Spartans are up to second and level on points with Toast as they picked up a points match win. Bottom side Jugg FC who to be honest have been really unlucky in many of their matches this season caused the upset of the night, beating Athletico Achilles 8-4. Big games to come over the next two weeks.

Green Goblins bounced back from the first loss of the season last week to seal a 7-1 win over Poortugal to all but secure the title. Royal Madrid are now up to second as they beat Unnamed 31 year old Everton Players 6-3 to go above them on goal difference. After being the whipping boy's for much of the season in Div 1 bottom side Hardly Athletic produced their best performance of the season to win 18-5 against Sevilla Depression, both these sides heading to Div 2 for next season.

AB's All White's have won the Div 2 title however it wasn't their night last night as the champions went down 7-2 to an in form Champagne Super Rovers who made it 3 wins in a row as they scramble to avoid relegation. Victor Moses Lawn are back into the promotion places as they won 9-7 against Survey Monkey's to go above them. Goals Aloud aren't out of it either as they defeated Substandard Liege 6-1. There's just 2 points between second place Victor Moses and 6th place Liege so all to play for still,

The Div 3 title race is building up nicely to a final day match up between the top two, although I'm sure their opponents next week might have a few things to say about that. Sporting John currently sit top with FC Unts second on goal difference. Last night Sporting won 6-2 against Cunning Stunts while Unts beat Expected Toulouse 10-2. In the other game The Sticky Bandits won 8-2 against Only Put Matip In.

Scumbag FC are now odds on to lift the Div 4 trophy as they won 12-4 against McFatty's to remain unbeaten this season. Second place Intayanan almost secured promotion as they won 8-3 against Relegation Rovers to strengthen their grip on second. Fearless Duck picked up a points match victory in their game.

Thank you to all our teams and to Dean for running the evening, Dean is off on a well earned break for a few weeks so Warren will be coming back to supervise until Dean returns on the 21st March. Thank you also to our refs Ian, Matt and Tom. Cheers Rich 07969 731086.
