Abingdon Thursday 5 a side end of season!

We concluded the final round of games last night at our Abingdon Thursday 5 a side Football League. We had some cracking matches with newly crowned champions in FC Hog.

DIVISION ONE

In an intense game, Narcos FC and Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels ended with a thrilling draw at 5-5. Both teams showed their prowess and determination, providing spectators with a match to remember.

FC HOG and RealSoSoBad kept us on the edge of our seats with another nerve-wrecking 4-4 draw. Both teams gave their all, showcasing the highest level of football in the final week of the season. With the title in the bag FC Hog could afford to relax but credit to RealSoSoBad for putting in a fantastic performance against the champions.

FC HOG, with a total of 17 points and an impressive unbeaten record of 8 wins and a draw emerged as the undisputed champions of the division. Their consistent performance throughout the season and their ability to deliver under pressure was truly commendable, marking them out as a team of true professionals.

The final week of the Abingdon Thursday Football League was truly a spectacle, demonstrating the skill, talent, and competitive spirit that exists in Division 1. It is this passion for the sport that keeps us eagerly awaiting the next season. Congratulations once again to FC HOG for their well-deserved victory.
