In the third week of the Abingdon Thursday, Five-A-Side Football league, Division 1 witnessed a thrilling night of football that had us on the edge of our seats. The evening was filled with impressive tactics, sportsmanship and commendable performances from all teams.

DIVISION ONE

In the first match of the night, Drayton FC demonstrated their class by securing a decisive 3-0 victory against Ange Summers to stay top on goal difference. The team's disciplined defence and effective attacking plays kept Ange Summers at bay, highlighting Drayton FC's strategic prowess on the pitch.

However, the most high-scoring game of the night was Bola Boys versus FC HOG, which saw FC HOG dominating the game with a 9-2 win. Their striking force was relentless as they moved up to second in the table, level on points with leaders Drayton.

Similarly, reigning Nathan Collins FC blew away The Pie Eaters with a stunning 9-1 victory as they climbed to third.

RealSoSoBad also had an impressive display last night, securing a 5-1 win against Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels. The victory was a testament to their impressive offensive lineup and unyielding defence, showing that they are indeed a force to be reckoned with in Division 1.
