The Abingdon Thursday 5-a-side Football league concluded its sixth-week showdown last night with some exhilarating football on display. Passion, energy, and camaraderie filled the air as the teams from Division 1 and Division 2 battled it out, keeping the fans on their toes.

In Division 2, the electrifying encounter between The Hungry Horses and Leys United ended with a 5-2 score in favor of Leys United. Despite a spirited performance from The Hungry Horses, Leys United's superior game plan and execution led them to an emphatic victory.

The subsequent match saw RealSoSoBad squaring off against Straight Outta Compton. In what turned out to be a commanding display from Straight Outta Compton, the team secured a 6-2 victory over RealSoSoBad. This victory has further solidified Straight Outta Compton's standing in the league, making them a team to watch out for in the upcoming matches.

The top scorers from Division 2 were the key playmakers from Leys United and Straight Outta Compton, who contributed significantly to their teams' victories. Their outstanding performances not only boosted their team's morale but also provided the spectators with some exceptional football to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the results from Division 1 were not available at press time due to all Division 1 teams playing in friendlies, so plenty of 5-0 wins on paper!
