Ye Mon and Saky Thirds lead Abingdon Wed 5 a side!

Thank you to all teams down at our Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side league. A mixed night unfortunately as BTEC weren't able to make their match with The Mighty Ducks due to a major traffic jam on the A415 due to an accident although thank you for communication on the matter. Also DWFC weren't in attendance last night and will now be vacating the league due to lack of players. We welcome FC Spangled to our Wednesday league.

Now for the results, at the top of the Premier League its a two horse race for the title as reigning champions Ye Mon FC and Saky Thirds battle it out for the trophy. Ye Mon currently lead the table on goal difference after a 24-3 win over Crouchy United while Saky Thirds beat Abingdons FC 8-2. In other results Trade FC got the only goal in a 1-0 win over Slough Posse while G Block Europe defeated Ale Stars 12-2.

In Div 1 leaders Fatzio picked up a 3-0 victory over Hardly Athletic FC while second place Rafacakes won 4-1 against The Pie Eaters to remain two points behind. Murder On Zidanes Floor won again to move themselves up to third in the table as they beat You've Been Tangoed 6-1. Finally The Mighty Ducks were awarded a 5-0 points match win due to BTEC Moscow not being able to make it to the fixture on time.

We move into Div 2 and there was an excellent win for Sin Bin FC who inflicted a first defeat of the season on FC Hog with a 4-3 victory over them. With this Sin Bin close the gap to two points to keep their title chances alive. Cumnor Veterans were awarded a 5-0 points match win due to DWFC not attending, thank you to the lads that stayed on so Cumnor still had a game. Other results in the division included a 5-3 win for Chamakh My Pitch Up over The Oscillators while Shaktar Last Night won 8-3 against Crixus.
