ABINGDON 5 A SIDE - WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Despite the threat of snow in the are we had another great night down at Tilsley Park last night for week 7 of our season of 5 a side in Abingdon

A few of our teams were missing but most were there as usual, and some great games were played. Check out the highlights of this week’s games below. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

HoldMyBeer took a 5 - 0 points win with Bagotelli absent while Redtail welcomed Berinsfield to the league with a 17 - 4 win, Ollie Creed and Jensen Wright bagging 4 each to keep their side within a point of the top. Wanderers came out on top in the Botley derby. Snell's Finlay and Louis with 2 each to secure the win 5 - 3 over rivals Botley's Finest.

DIVISION ONE

In Division One there was a good win for FCUOB 8 - 4 over Slough Posse, Josh Jefferies netting a fine hat-trick for Slough while Goring GOB's got the better of Basically Barca with Joff Shafe the main man for them, scoring 3 in the teams 6 - 4 win. 

DIVISION TWO

The Appleton teams head up Division Two with the White's winning 8 - 6 against Ale Stars for whom Adam Naylor bagged a hat-trick. The Red half of Appleton were beaten by Maragonna 5 - 4 but remain top and Outer Milan had a tough night against Serious Heat in their 1st game, moving them closer to the mid table sides
