In the heart of Abingdon, a thrilling week 2 of the local 5-a-side football league took place this Wednesday night, showcasing some incredibly competitive matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Over in the Premier League, Basically Barca barely edged out Holdmybeer in a nail-biting contest, clinching the win 5-4. Meanwhile, Ed Morey Driving School FC had a smooth ride to victory, cruising past Maragonna with a decisive 6-0 win. The surprise of the night came in the form of The Mighty Ducks who delivered a dazzling performance, defeating Serious Heat with an impressive 15-5 scoreline.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1, Hangover 96 gave a sublime performance that Borussia Snortmund will be keen to forget, running out 9-0 victors. In a much closer contested match, FCUOB managed to overcome OGM FC with a narrow 6-4 victory.

DIVISION TWO

Meanwhile, Division 2 was no less enthralling, with AFC Deez Whites shutting out Park The Airbus 5-0. Real SoSoBad lived up to their name, defeating JET FC 5-2. However, the standout match of the division saw Slough Posse FC triumph over TerryBell FC in a high-scoring 7-3 encounter.
