Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 6

In an exhilarating week 6 of the Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-side Football League, teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 showcased commendable performance and sportsmanship.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, The Mighty Ducks managed to snatch victory from the grasp of Basically Barca, with a 4-3 win. A remarkable comeback, exhibiting their tenacity and determination. Bench Squirters FC, however, could not hold their ground against The B480, who had a resounding triumph with a score of 14-4, demonstrating their prowess on the field. The Spoonies FC had an unstoppable run in their match against X1 Lightning-way, cranking out a landslide victory of 28-0.

DIVISION ONE  

Moving to Division 1, FCUOB proved superior with a solid 4 - 2 win over Shy Teds FC. Ham Wallet FC pulled off a thrilling 5 - 2 win against Park the Airbus, gaining significant ground in the league standings.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Pickle FC delivered a stellar performance against Bikini Bottom Ballers, breezing their way to a 7-2 victory. Billy Big Ballers unfortunately lost to Pewsey Town FC, with a scoreline of 4 - 1. Micheal Ballache FC stood tall against JET FC, securing a 5-0 victory and asserting their dominance in the division.

As we look forward to week 7, the pressure is on for each team to step up their game. With the bar set high, we can expect fierce competition and thrilling matches in the coming week.
