The Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-side Football League continued with week 9, delivering a thrilling display of skill and athleticism across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 games. Fans were treated to an exhilarating evening of competition, which saw some of the season's most intense matches thus far.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, The Mighty Ducks showcased their dominance, defeating Spoonies FC with a 7-1 victory, demonstrating their exceptional offensive prowess. In another match, Spraggys Chopper FC were able to pull off a solid 5-1 win against The B480. The evening's most balanced match was between Basically Barca and Ballotellitubies, which ended in a 5-5 draw, after a riveting back-and-forth contest that had supporters on the edge of their seats.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, Maragonna emerged victorious with an impressive 8-1 win against Ale Stars, showing their class in a highly competitive division.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Slough Posse FC registered a solid 7-3 victory over JET FC, while Park The Airbus outplayed Pickle FC, finishing the match with a 5-2 scoreline. These results have further stirred the pot in an already exciting Division 2 contest.
