In an exhilarating turn of events in the Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side Football league, a number of teams showcased commendable performances, redefining the action in week 9 of the season.

Premier League 
In the Premier League division, the electrifying clash between Basically Barca and The Mighty Ducks ended in a thrilling 6-5 victory for Basically Barca. The game was a testament to the intense competition and high-level skill within the league.

Division 1
Division 1, saw an equally gripping face-off between FCUOB and Bikini Bottom Ballers. FCUOB managed to secure a 7-3 win over their opponents. Park The Airbus and Spoonies FC delivered a nail-biting match with Spoonies FC edging out a 6-5 victory in the end. Another high-scoring contest between Pewsey Town FC and Shy Teds FC resulted in a 10-8 triumph for Shy Teds FC.

Division 2
In Division 2, Ale Stars shone bright with a 4-1 victory over Slough Posse FC. The game between Billy Big Ballers and Pickle FC ended in a 4-4 draw, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats. The highlight of the division was JET FC’s face-off against Micheal Ballache FC, which saw the latter scoring an astounding 15 goals to JET FC’s 3.

As the season progresses, the competition is heating up with the top scorers from each division continuing to make their mark. The top goal-scorers from each division will surely be looking to maintain their momentum in the upcoming matches.
