Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side WEEK 7

In an electrifying week 7 of the Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side Football League, spectators were treated to an array of spectacular performances and thrilling matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

In the Premier League, Basically Barca showcased their prowess by defeating The B480 with a comprehensive 6-2 victory. Not to be outdone, Spraggys Chopper FC produced an impressive display of offensive firepower, defeating The Mighty Ducks with a scintillating scoreline of 12-7. Meanwhile, Spoonies FC registered a convincing 4-0 win over Ballotellitubies, asserting their dominance in the division.

Over in Division 1, Maragonna triumphed over Saka Potatoes in a closely contested match, ending 4-2. Ale Stars also recorded a win against FCUOB, with a final scoreline of 5-3. In a one-sided affair, Hangover 96 proved to be too strong for Shaggers United as they emerged victorious with an 8-1 rout.

Division 2 saw JET FC make a mark by defeating Billy Big Ballers 6-1. Park The Airbus also notched up a win against Athletic Hanney FC, ending the match 8-3. The highlight of the division undoubtedly came from Slough Posse FC, who dominated Pickle FC, leaving them scoreless in a 7-0 victory.

As we reflect on the top scorers of each division, Spraggys Chopper FC's stunning twelve goals make them the standout team in the Premier League. Hangover 96's eight goals put them at the top in Division 1, and Slough Posse FC, with their seven-goal haul, emerged as the top scorers in Division 2.
