Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side WEEK 9

In a thrilling week 9 of the Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-side Football league, teams from three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 - battled it out on the field, resulting in some high octane performances that truly encapsulated the spirit of the game.


In the Premier League, Basically Barca ruled the field with a resounding victory over Ballotellitubies, ending the match 7-3. The Mighty Ducks showcased their prowess with a 10-6 win over FCUOB, truly marking their presence in the league. Meanwhile, Spraggys Chopper FC proved their mettle with a solid 5-2 win over Shaggers United.


Moving onto Division 1, Maragonna outpaced Billy Big Ballers with a staggering 15-1 victory, demonstrating their exceptional skills and teamwork. The B480 also triumphed over Shy Teds FC with a scoreline of 7-2. In another fixture, Spoonies FC clinched a 4-1 win against Athletic Hanney FC, marking an impressive performance.


Over in Division 2, Hangover 96 came out victorious over Ale Stars, with a convincing 10-5 win. JET FC also showcased their skill and determination with a 4-2 victory over Slough Posse FC.

Although the league hasn't officially announced the top scorers yet, the performances of each division's standout players were nothing short of mesmerizing.
