SOCIOS CHAMPIONS OF ABINGDON WEDNESDAY

Congratulations to Socios who are crowned as champions of our Wednesday night 5 a side league in Abingdon having finished top of the pile in our premier league with 18 points from their 10 games. Botley Wanderers finish second just a few points behind. Both team won this week to cement their positions in the final league table. Joining them in the top flight and going up as champions of Division One are RMT who ended the season a point ahead of The Mighty Ducks who also earn promotion. Appleton White avoid the drop with a tidy 6 - 4 win on the last night and send Goring GOB's down in the process. They and Wenger Boys will play in Div Two when we restart next week. Coming up are Ale Stars and Baotelli who gain promotion from Div Two with Ale Stars taking the title by just a point. 
Well done to all our teams for an excellent season.
