Towcester Monday 6-a-side league: Brand New Season!
The Towcester Monday 6-a-side league is back with a brand new season of footballing action at the Towcester Centre for Leisure.
In the opening round of fixtures, we saw some tight battles, with the reigning champions Champaigne Super Rovers falling to a 0-2 defeat in the opener against newcomers Hardly Athletic, showing that their title defence will not be easy.
Pooventus FC beat Boca Seniors 3-1 to take provisional top spot on the table, while Atletico Old Boys and GOC Returns played out a thriller, where the former came out as narrow 3-2 winners.
